Each year for the past 32 years, I have had Christmas Eve dinner at my house. I love, love, love it!!! I enjoy planning the menu, shopping for the ingredients and spending the week preparing, cooking and baking! It's a lot of work but worth every minute of it.
Here's what's on the menu this year:
- Shrimp Cocktail
- Crab Cakes
- Mozzarella Sticks
- Pizza Bites
- Ranch and Pecan Cheese Ball
- Pesto and Cheddar Cheese Ball
- Onion and Mustard Cheese Ball
- Ham Tortilla Pinwheels
- Sausage Wonton Stars
- Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip
- Crackers
- Melba Toast
- Relish Tray
- Meatballs
- Garlic Bread
- Garden Salad
- Baked Mostaccioli
- Oreo Cake
This isn't even close to what I used to serve. I've had to pair things down over the years since our family is scattered a little bit and we don't have as many at our table anymore. I used to also have on the menu two different soups, chicken, fish and dozens upon dozens of cookies!
If you would like to try one of my recipes, leave me a comment with your email address and I will send that to you!
From our house to yours - Merry Christmas!!! May the Lord bless you and your family this year and always!!!

Oh Lucy, I love crab cakes! That's a lot of yummy food :o) It's so wonderful that you put your heart into it for everyone. I'll bet y'all enjoy the awesome feast, and I know you'll be thanking the Lord for it too. Merry Christmas!

Sounds like a veritable feast Lucy! Our family Christmas Eve meal is tons of appetizers as well - many that we only make at Christmas, and usually a hot sandwich of some sort. I would love, love, that recipe for the sausage wonton stars sometime (no rush - know it's hectic all over, I won't get them made for this Christmas anyway....) Wishing you and your family a season of Christmas blessings, joys, and magic....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Oh wow girl, all that food is giving me a tummyache, lol! We are very traditional around here with ham and turkey. But your menu sounds wonderful! I'm sure it was a delicious feast.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoy bringing in the new year~
