Who Am I?

I have used this blog as an opportunity to get to know some really great people and to share bits and pieces of my every day life. I feel led to share with you the most amazing, profound experience in my life.

At the age of 34, married with two children, I was looking for a way out of my life. Unhappy, unsatisfied, unfulfilled, depressed, dejected, disillusioned, I wanted nothing more to do with my family, my friends, or life in general.

That is...until Jesus Christ stepped into my life and saved me from a life destined to be separated from Him for an eternity. I transferred my faith and trust in myself and placed it on Him, asking Him to be my Lord and Saviour and save me from the destruction I was causing myself and to those most important in my life.

I am now 51 years old and have enjoyed a fulfilling relationship with Jesus. What I've learned is that religion won't change destiny, only a relationship and faith in Jesus can and will do that. Life has changed a lot for me these past 16 years. My husband, my children and my granddaughter are now all saved and assured an eternity in heaven. I'm not perfect, but by the grace of God He continues to work in my life to change me more into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

If you are seeking answers from the world, you will be like me - unhappy, unsatisfied, unfulfilled, depressed, dejected, disillusioned. If you want life, and life more abundantly - come to Christ.

So many in the world are lost. Always searching for love and happiness in the things around them. We must be still, find peace within ourselves and become the spiritual creatures that God intended us to be. Blessings to you and yours, Tammy

I too was having similar feelings about life. At the age of 26 I accepted Christ and my life has never been the same (I'm 38 now). Thanks for sharing your testimony.

Beautiful! I wish I had that peace..I pray everyday for God to come into my heart but it seems I am far from perfect..just hope God doesn't give up on me. Thanks for sharing your story with me.

He changed my life! I kept trying to make it perfect, but as you know our perfect is really a mess and that's what my life became, not perfect but a mess, a mess from my own failed efforts. When He came in to my life, it didn't become perfect but it did become complete. All the emptiness was filled with His Perfect. He really is a wonderful Saviour. Thanks for a beautiful post Lucy!
